Dustin Prestridge Seattle - Home Health Care

Dustin Prestridge

Founder - HCA, NA-R & CPR/AED - First Aid Licensed & Certified

I founded visits.care with one simple belief: exceptional care should feel personal, comfortable, and deeply human.

My lifelong instinct to help others was shaped in profound ways when I began navigating early-onset Parkinson’s. That experience taught me about dignity, patience, resilience, and the quiet strength required both to receive support and to offer it. It deepened my purpose and inspired me to build a service where people can feel safe, understood, and truly supported in the place that matters most: home.

As a Washington State–certified Home Care Aide (HCA), Nursing Assistant–Registered (NA-R), and CPR/AED & First Aid–licensed caregiver, I bring clinical skill blended with emotional understanding to every visit. But credentials are only the foundation. The heart of my work lies in creating an environment where comfort comes naturally and companionship is sincere.

The philosophy behind visits.care is simple:

  • Respect for each person’s routines, history, and preferences

  • Trust built through consistency, communication, and reliability

  • Connection that goes beyond tasks and fosters genuine ease

  • Compassion that includes the entire home - including family pets who offer stability, comfort, and joy

Visits.care exists because I believe care should be profoundly human - to encompass compassion.

Anna Scheibe

Partner - HCA, NA-R & CPR/AED - First Aid Licensed & Certified

My journey into senior care began with my grandmother, whose rapid decline due to dementia changed the course of my life. Stepping in as her full-time caregiver opened my eyes to the importance of compassionate, attentive support—and it’s what inspired my commitment to serving others.

With over 15 years of experience in adult and senior care, I’m dedicated to helping people maintain comfort, confidence, and independence at home. My approach blends warmth, patience, and professionalism, ensuring each visit feels personal and respectful.

I provide a wide range of support, including transportation, errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and meaningful companionship. I also understand how essential pets are to emotional well-being. Caring for family pets—whether that means feeding, walking, or simply offering comfort—helps preserve routine, reduce stress, and ensure the home environment feels complete. Supporting clients and their companions is a vital part of the holistic care I strive to provide.

I’m experienced in de-escalating difficult moments, supporting individuals experiencing confusion, and incorporating memory-care activities into daily routines. I bring both skill and heart to every visit.

I look forward to offering the same level of attentive, dignified, and compassionate care to your family that I once provided my own.

For more than twenty years, I’ve dedicated my work to teaching, coaching, and helping people build meaningful connections. Whether in a classroom, a community setting, or a private home, my purpose has always been the same: to make others feel seen, supported, and understood.

At Visits.Care, I bring that same commitment to my role as Director of Engagement & Education. I believe great care isn’t just technical—it’s personal. It’s the tone of a conversation, the patience in a moment of stress, and the trust that forms when people feel truly listened to. My goal is to shape every part of our engagement and training programs around those values.

I develop and guide our caregiver education, communication practices, and relationship-centered standards, making sure everything we do reflects our mission to Encompass Compassion. My background in instructional design and adult learning helps me create training experiences that are practical, approachable, and grounded in empathy.

What I enjoy most is bridging knowledge with understanding—taking complex information and turning it into clear, supportive guidance that empowers our team and reassures the families we serve. Whether I’m mentoring caregivers, designing new learning tools, or speaking with clients about what matters most to them, I approach each interaction with intention and genuine care.

Every day, I’m grateful for the opportunity to help people thrive in the place they feel most at home.

Pipi

Certified Service Dog & Comfort Companion

I’m Pipi - the service dog and quiet source of comfort here at visits.care. My role is simple but meaningful: to bring calm, reassurance, and steady support to the families I visit.

As a certified service dog, I’m trained to recognize emotional cues, ease moments of anxiety, and create a sense of safety through my presence. I don’t need to be the center of attention — I’m at my best when I’m sitting nearby, offering calm companionship, and helping people feel grounded.

My strengths include:

  • Providing emotional support through a steady, gentle presence

  • Reducing stress and tension by sensing when someone needs closeness

  • Encouraging connection with soft eye contact and attentive behavior

  • Helping maintain routine in homes with pets by modeling calm, consistent behavior

I value quiet moments, predictable routines, and building trust at a comfortable pace. Whether I’m resting beside someone, checking in during a difficult moment, or simply being present in the room, my goal is to make the day feel a little lighter and more manageable
